STS/ACC TVT Registry™

About the Registry

Transcatheter valve therapies continue to expand treatment options for patients with structural heart disease. As these interventions evolve, hospitals need reliable data to evaluate patient selection, monitor safety, understand outcomes and identify opportunities to improve care.

Created through a collaboration between the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the STS/ACC TVT Registry™ captures real-world outcomes for transcatheter valve replacement and repair procedures. The registry supports quality measurement, benchmarking, research and the ongoing evaluation of emerging structural heart technologies.

Partnership and Support

The STS/ACC TVT Registry is supported by a broad coalition of health care organizations, professional societies, regulatory agencies and participating hospitals dedicated to improving outcomes for patients undergoing transcatheter valve therapies.

Through the collaborative leadership of STS and ACC, along with support from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS), the registry enables the collection of high-quality real-world data that informs clinical practice, supports regulatory oversight, advances research and drives continuous quality improvement across the cardiovascular community.
