The chart below lists vendors who offer certified NCDR software for one or more of the following registries: ACTION Registry®–GWTGTM, CathPCI Registry®, CARE Registry® and ICD RegistryTM. A brief description of each certified vendor, their Web site address and a summary of their product, can be found at the bottom of the page.
Software purchased by a registry participant is installed by a certified vendor based on the needs of each facility. Certified software allows the participating facility to submit data to the NCDR on a quarterly basis, and in some cases, can be integrated into existing hospital systems. As a result, many software applications do much more than collect and export registry data. For this reason, each participant should consider their own software requirements when reviewing the vendor information. We encourage you to talk with the appropriate vendors to determine which software best meets your facility’s needs.
Participants of ACTION Registry–GWTG, CathPCI Registry, CARE Registry or ICD Registry may instead choose to use a complimentary Web-based data collection tool provided by the NCDR. Use of this tool, and any updated version, does not involve using a software vendor, and will allow hospitals to collect the most essential data for internal reporting. For vendors:
NCDR will provide registry database specifications to software vendors who are interested in developing an NCDR registry software package. NCDR reviews each software application to verify that it meets the strict data collection standards and export requirements as defined by NCDR, and certifies only those software vendors that meet its rigorous quality standards. These contracted, certified vendors are the exclusive providers of software that allows institutions to participate in NCDR registries.

AMICAS, Inc. (formerly Emageon) provides a single application for the management and reporting of data from echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and the cath lab. The AMICAS solution includes cardiac PACS, hemodynamics, Web-based clinical reporting, pediatric echocardiography, 4D echo tools, ECG management, and CathPCI NCDR-ACC registry reporting tools.
In July 2009, AMICAS received official certification from the ACC-NCDR for the AMICAS VERICIS Registry Reporting Application, per the new Version 4 coding requirements. Offered as an option to the VERICIS Image and Information Management System, this Cath-PCI Registry application features a new, easy-to-navigate user interface, on-screen help, new interactive deficiency reports, and intuitive data grouping to meet the ACC guidelines. This Web-deployed application leverages the latest .NET technology, which makes it available to any PC on the VERICIS network. Most importantly, from a workflow perspective, data flows seamlessly from both the AMICAS Hemodynamics system and from the Web-based physician-structured reporting module, which results in an automated pre-population of the ACC Registry data for each patient.

Ad-hoc, visual query designer, data table and statistical analysis are part of the standard application. No SQL or statistical knowledge nor any reporting tools are required in order to use Outcomes3. In addition, users can easily export data out at any time for any reasons without any restrictions.
