For coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure and atrial fibrillation in the outpatient setting
Nation's Largest Ambulatory Cardiovascular Quality Improvement Registry
With millions of patient records, the PINNACLE Registry® is cardiology's largest outpatient quality improvement registry. As part of the NCDR® suite of clinical registries, the PINNACLE Registry gives clinicians like you the credible quality measurement solutions you need to survive in today’s demanding health care environment.
The registry provides a centralized system for clinical practices to promote practice innovations and achieve clinical excellence. Participation offers many advantages, including:
Easy-to-interpret benchmark reports that validate the quality care you provide and pinpoint opportunities for improvement
Access to relevant data focusing on coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure and atrial fibrillation—the four most common cardiovascular conditions
Minimal data collection that delivers maximum clinical value
Multiple methods of data submission that fit seamlessly into practice workflow
The PINNACLE Registry is expanding with a new platform focusing on atrial fibrillation and including the next generation of anticoagulants. The new platform PINNACLE-AF, operates within the existing PINNACLE Registry.
The expansion of the PINNACLE Registry comes in response to new treatments for atrial fibrillation becoming available. PINNACLE-AF will provide a means to monitor practice pattern changes over time while we rigorously assess current practice patterns and help providers evaluate and improve adherence to established guidelines and performance measures. The expansion will also provide a deeper data repository for future research and innovation.
