Using an NCDR Software Vendor
Hospital registry participants may choose from a list of software vendors certified to meet NCDR standards for secure data submission.
Certified software vendors offer a wide spectrum of functionality and features to meet the needs of each facility. Several certified software may do more than collect and export registry data and can integrate into existing hospital systems.
The ACC encourages participants to consider their own software requirements when reviewing the vendor information and to contact appropriate vendors to determine which software best meets their facility’s needs.
Complimentary Web-Based Collection
A free web-based data collection tool is available for hospitals to collect the most basic data for internal reporting without using a vendor. Learn more about this option on the Participant Requirements page.
The ACC provides registry database specifications to software vendors interested in developing an NCDR registry software package. Each software application is reviewed to verify that it meets the strict data collection standards and export requirements as defined by the NCDR. Vendors interested in obtaining NCDR software certification should contact (800) 257-4737 or email@example.com.
